Ella's Seed Story

          During Ella's story of the seed experience, she learned that depending on the level of sodium in the water for the seed, the seed will grow very little, a lot, or not at all. Ella was surprised when she learned just how much it takes to plant a seeds. A lot goes into it such as, the positioning of the plant which determines how much sunlight the seed will get. Another big thing that goes into gardening that Ella learned was how much care the seeds need. One thing that made Ella laugh over the course of this project was being around her teammates and having fun with this project. Ella said that it is one of the more fun projects as you get to get up and interact with each other while still learning at the same time. When Ella found out that something so small, in this case the salt, could affect the growth of something like a plant it made her think harder. It was hard for her to wrap her head around this fact. Ella learned a lot in this story of the seed project, laughed with her teammates, and had to stop and think a bit harder to get to understand some things.
